          Colonel Antoni Chru¶ciel aka "Monter" gives an order to stand ready for the Uprising. The troops receive the order early in the morning.
          The Warsaw population boycotts the German call to build fortifications. A feeling of expectancy reigns in the city.
          In view of a lack of German reaction to the contumacy of the Warsaw residents, in the afternoon the Home Army Command decides to postpone the outbreak of the Uprising. At 4 pm Colonel Antoni Chru¶ciel aka "Monter" gives an order to call off the alert.
