The defenders of the Old Town recapture the ruins of the Blank Palace and the Town Hall and the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. They maintain the Old Town Market.
The "Chrobry I" battalion fights for the control over Bielańska Street.

The plan to break through to Śródmieście to evacuate the Old Town defenders to the area of Krochmalna Street is developed. The main attack should be launched on the German positions on Bielańska Street. Simultaneously, the troops from Śródmieście should attack the enemy positions from the other side.
A group of soldiers should make their way to Bank Square through the sewers and stage the main attack from this place.
Making a passage from the Old Town to Śródmieście will make it possible to evacuate the insurgents, wounded soldiers and civilians.

The chaplain of the Home Army "Radosław" group, Rev. Józef Warszawski "Father Paul", a Jesuit priest, hides the relics of St. Andrew Bobola in the basement of St. Hyacinth's Church (10 Freta Street). In this way they will survive the war.

Around 300 sick and injured people lose their lives in the bombardment of the Ujazdowski Hospital (19/21 Chełmska Street).

Heavy fights over Sadyba. The main insurgent forces concentrate in the Czerniaków Fortress.
