In the morning the Germans send a few Home Army POW officers as mediators to the commander of Mokotów district, Lieutenant Colonel Józef Rokicki "Karol", with a proposition to surrender. The talks, however, are discontinued.

Fierce fights in Mokotów last the whole day.
The Germans cut into the Polish defense, forming a 600-meter wedge. Hand-to-hand fights at close quarters are taking place. Some locations change hands a few times.
The decimated insurgent troops are not able to hold their positions. The "Alkazar" stronghold falls. The enemy forces reach the Dreszer Park and Puławska Street.
There are also heavy fights over the school building on Woronicza Street. The redoubt passes from hands to hands seven times.

The fights claim the lives of many officers. Both Lieutenant Colonel Stanisław Kamiński "Daniel", the commander of the "Baszta" ("Bastille") unit, and Lieutenant Colonel Adam Remigiusz Grocholski "Waligóra", the deputy commander of the Ochota Sub-district who is fighting in Mokotów, sustain heavy wounds.

At night, the commander of Mokotów, Lieutenant Colonel "Karol", undertakes a decision to evacuate the troops, civil authorities and injured people to Śródmieście through the sewers.

General Antoni Chruściel "Monter" ("Assembler") requests the Soviet Marshal Rokossovsky to direct artillery fire on the positions of strong German offensive in Mokotów.

Eugeniusz Lokajski, an Olympics champion, the author of numerous photographs of the Uprising, is killed in the ruins of the house at 129 Marszałkowska Street.
