In this place on September 3, 1944 in the tenement house in 12 Moniuszki street bombed by Germans fifteen Warsaw insurgents from the protective platoon of the Home Army Gendarmerie Headquarters and three soldiers from the company "Koszta" of the Home Army Warsaw District.
