The 54-metre-long mural painting is to be found on the fence of the 28th Primary School named after Stefan Żeromski in 18/20 Gościeradowska street from the side of Handlowa street, opposite the GKP Targówek stadium.
It was performed in the year 2013 by two Young artists from the Artisco.corp.
In the middle of the painting there is a huge inscription: Warszawa 1944 (Warsaw 1944); on the ride side one can see a fragment of the 23rd psalm: Choćbym szedł doliną śmierci, zła się nie ulęknę (Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil) that is being recited by an insurgent; nearby there is the Fighting Poland anchor wrapped in the wtite and red flag, as well as an insription: Pamiętamy (We remember) in the club colours of CWKS Legia football club. On the painting we can also see the figures of soldiers, Beyond whom there is the city on fire and airplanes bombing it.
On August 1, 1944 at the W hour (5 p.m.) the insurgents from the 1st and 2nd regions of the 6th District of the Home Army Warsaw Region started active fighting with Germans. Because of the enormous German dominance, the Uprising in the Prague district had to end after few days. On August 10, 1944 commanders of the 6th Prague District ordered to fight underground. On September 14 soldiers of the Red Army and the People's 1st Army marched in the Prague district.
