The March of the Undefeated 1944-2009

On October 3, 2009, i.e. on the 65th anniversary of the day when the act of capitulation of the Warsaw Uprising had been signed, the Historic Reconstruction Group "Czata 49" prepared the March of the Undefeated 1944-2009.

It was a symbolic marching out of an insurgent unit to captivity. Several dozen of young people, wearing uniforms and white and red armbands, with weapon in their hands, set off at noon sharp from the Warsaw Uprising monument in the Krasiński square.
The unit, at double array, led by commanders, was marching via the following Warsaw street: Długa, Miodowa, Krakowskie Przedmieście, Nowy Świat, Aleje Jerozolimskie, Marszałkowska, Śniadeckich towards the Politechnika Square.
There, in front of the Warsaw Technical University main building, surrounded by German soldiers, insurgents laid down arms and were taken captive.
The event was Ahmed to remind inhabitants of Warsaw of what had happened 65 years ago.
