Medical services in the Warsaw Uprising

I highly recommend reading the materials on medical services in the Warsaw Uprising. Warsaw doctors, medical orderlies and nurses took part in the uneven fight with the German invader to the same degree as insurgents. Significant help was given by civilians who actively participated in equipping field hospitals through providing medicines and food. That Samaritan activity of Polish health service did not cease at the very moment of the Uprising surrender.
