2 Rynek Nowego Miasta Street. The St. Casimir church.
The church was built in the year 1692.
During the Warsaw Uprising, i.e. in August 1944, a field hospital was opened here. Since then the church was being fired. On August 31, 1944 the church was damaged due to bombing. About 1000 civilians, 4 priests and 35 the Holy Sacrament sisters died in the ruins.
In the year 1947 the church started to be rebuilt.

In the side nave of the church there is an arrangement in the memory of 1000 casualties, including 4 priests, the Holy Sacrament sisters and 15 orphans who fell in the church ruins on August 31, 1944 in the Warsaw Uprising.
