Week VII

          The German forces are intensifying their attacks on Czerniaków, striving to finally cut the insurgents off from the Vistula River.
          The military activities in other parts of the city are less intensified.
          When the 1st Tadeusz Kościuszko Infantry Division of the Polish People's Army reaches Praga, the Germans blow up the bridges across the Vistula River.
          The Kościuszko troops make an attempt at crossing the river near Czerniaków and Żoliborz.
          American planes carry out a daily airdrop of large amounts of equipment over fighting Warsaw. Unfortunately, the airdrop is of rather propaganda character - most of the equipment falls into the German hands.
